She checked all of my reports. And I am doing ok. She did have some concern that I am taking XANAX for sleep. Do have several problems since o had a Quadruple by pass. One is I can’t fall asleep because I get signal to wake up 24 hours a day. I take meds to fall asleep. One med was XANX , have taken up to 6 mg, would like to find a med or ? Something that would help me fall asleep. I also have taken up to 340 mg of Melatonin. and 1500 mg of Gabapentin. Have tried other meds. Do have other problems sine my Quadruple bypass in 1998.

As always, staff was professional, caring and respectful. The wait was over a hour which seems excessive with an appointment

Dr Villa is one of the best Cardiologists out there..however the lack of communication from the scheduler, pharmacy dept to pharmacist is lacking at best. I was prescribed Statin however it was not brought to my attention until a month after the prescription was so called made. The Pharmacy dept was very rude and hung up on me after tellling me that I have a medical condition blockage while the report after scans revealed that there appeared to be mild nonobstruction in LAD, LCC. I had to leave due to incompetence. Dr Villa should leave this office to work with more competent people. The Practicioner was somewhat infomative assuming I had been taking medication for the last month when no one including Dr Villa did not tell me to start any medication until scans and tests have been completed. Suggestion: The Practicioner should communicate with the supervising doctor first before meeting with the patient. I'm not even sure if I'm really supposed to be taking this medication without continuing lifestyle change over the upcoming months...this is called preventative medicine.
